SHIPPING POLICY

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

O So Rein is an online-only store operating within the Republic of South Africa. We do not offer walk-in collections unless explicitly arranged in writing.

All orders are subject to product availability and payment confirmation.


2. PROCESSING TIMES

  • Orders are processed within 2-5 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.

  • During peak seasons, product launches, or promotional periods, processing times may be extended.

If there is a delay due to stock availability, you will be notified via email.


3. SHIPPING METHODS

We use reputable third-party courier services for deliveries within South Africa.

Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Delivery location

  • Parcel weight

  • Selected shipping method

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.


4. DELIVERY TIME ESTIMATES (SOUTH AFRICA)

  • Major Cities: 1–3 business days after dispatch

  • Regional Areas: 2–5 business days after dispatch

  • Remote Areas: 3–7 business days after dispatch

Delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Courier operational delays

  • Strikes or civil unrest

  • Load shedding disruptions

  • Incorrect address details

O So Rein is not liable for courier-related delays once the parcel has been handed over.


5. SHIPPING FEES

Shipping fees are:

  • Calculated at checkout, or

  • Offered as free shipping when promotional thresholds apply (if applicable).

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless required under the Consumer Protection Act.


6. ORDER TRACKING

Once your order has been dispatched:

  • You will receive a tracking number via email or SMS.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the tracking information provided.


7. DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing:

  • Accurate delivery information

  • Correct contact number

  • Correct postal code

If a parcel is returned due to incorrect or incomplete address details:

  • The customer will be responsible for re-shipping costs.

O So Rein is not liable for parcels delivered to the address provided by the customer.


8. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Couriers may attempt delivery 1–3 times.

If delivery fails due to:

  • No one available to receive the parcel

  • Incorrect contact details

  • Refusal of delivery

The parcel may be returned to us. Re-delivery fees will apply.


9. RISK & OWNERSHIP

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the provided address.

Ownership of goods remains with O So Rein until full payment has been received.


10. DAMAGED OR LOST PARCELS

If your parcel arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide clear photographic evidence of the packaging and product.

If a parcel is lost in transit:

  • We will open an investigation with the courier.

  • Resolution may take 5–10 business days.

Replacement or refund will be issued only once the courier investigation is finalized.


11. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (IF APPLICABLE)

For international orders:

  • Delivery times vary depending on destination country.

  • Customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

  • O So Rein is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges.


12. COLLECTIONS (IF OFFERED)

If local collection is offered:

  • Collection details will be provided after order confirmation.

  • Valid identification may be required.

  • Collection must occur within the specified timeframe.


13. FORCE MAJEURE

O So Rein is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Courier disruptions

  • Power outages
